Somerset State Basketball Cost?

Coaching Sessions only: £33.00 per month

Classforkids: Take a small fee each month to process your booking and fee.

All sessions are paid via a 12 month rolling subscription, removing huge upfront termly fees and taking into account holidays so payments are spread accordingly.

What is the cancellation policy?

We ask for one months written notice to cancel your child's subscription. This ensures we can plan numbers accordingly each month and ensure we are able to provide our services long term.

What is your curriculum?

Our coaches take all players on a learning journey throughout each term in sessions.

Each week follows a learning pattern of Shooting, Dribbling, Passing and Defending. With subtopics to ensure every aspect of basketball is learnt and understood throughout the season, from Layups, crossovers, weaves and help defense.

What is All Stars?

Our All Star programme was launched in 2025 as we wished to provide another layer of learning within basketball to those who wished to take basketball more seriously as their main sport. Striving to train harder each week with the All Stars alongside their coaching centre training, attending games which does involve travel and additional costs.

Do we play games at coaching centres?

Coaching Centres are coaching centres for all and do not have specific teams attached to them. We do go and play friendlies and attend tournaments, alongside once every term having our in house tournament week on the final session of term.

If you wish for your son or daughter to join our All Star Programme, please reach out and we can have a conversation around this.

What is Classforkids?

Class for kids is our booking platform and provides all caregivers with updated session details regarding venues, coaching session dates, First Aid and parental note information and more via the class for kids app (found on the app store). Not only this but once you have set up your child's profile once, it automatically saves providing you with easy access for booking and paying for future classes like our wonderful holiday camps.

Can I just turn up to a venue for a session?

We ask for all new bookings to be made via our website booking system to ensure we have all emergency contact details and medication information. However... the first session is a FREE session to make sure you enjoy and can see yourself with us before committing.
